His movie Unfreedom got banned in India by the censor board and that is why director Raj Amit Kumar is asking support from all citizens. He is asking them to voice their opinions about their choices. The director made a video which shows that he is asking the citizens to sign a petition addressing to the prime minister of India about their choices. He also has some advices for the censor board, according to him Indian censor board should rate the movie A or U, instead asking the filmmakers to cut the important sense from the movie or banned showing all together at the theaters.
More and more people are speaking against Indian censor board, in case recently actress Anushka Sharma told the media that censor board is affecting the creativity of film people. Another movie showing a girl with cerebral palsy faced hard times from the board. It is about time people speak up against this so called moral policing. Homosexuality is normal and Indian censor board needs to understand that.
