Bhanu Uday, who is currently seen in ‘Hamari Sister Didi’, recently shot for a Hollywood film, ‘Blemished Light’. In the film, the actor played the role of a Pakistani butcher. The actor had two looks in the film – one that required him to grow a beard and the second look required him to go bald.

“It took me a year to get the two looks. First, I had to grow a beard which took me a long time, and then I had to shave off my head. I play a Pakistani butcher in the film who has a dark past and then he is sent to New York, to assassinate a liberal Muslim leader (whose role is played by Victor Banerjee). After meeting this liberal leader, he feels that this person is similar to his father,” he said, adding, “The director (Raj Amit Kumar) auditioned me for three months before choosing me for the role. Teen mahinon tak mera audition hi chalta raha tha.” Bhanu also shot some portions of the film in Delhi. “The portions where we had to show Pakistan were shot in Old Delhi. I shot for 10 days in the city and also had a 30-day schedule in New York,” he said.
